Bio

Yu Fu is an Investment Specialist for the Emerging Market Fixed Income team at BNPP AM.

Yu is responsible for providing investment expertise in supporting the commercialisation of the team’s capabilities, as well as client engagement. Yu joined our firm in 2021 and is based in Singapore.

Before joining BNP Paribas Asset Management, Yu was with Allianz Global Investors as an Associate Product Specialist covering Asia Fixed Income. Prior to that, Yu was an Associate Investment Director with investment advisory firm Cambridge Associates in Singapore and worked alongside institutional investors and family offices in the Asia Pacific region on portfolio advisory and discretionary management mandates.

Yu has 15 years of industry experience. He began his career at Bloomberg LP in 2011, where he was an Analytics Specialist focusing on public equities and a Sales Associate covering institutions in Southeast Asia. Yu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. Yu is a CFA charterholder.
