We as a sustainable investor engage with the companies we invest in on stewardship issues such as halting deforestation and tackling water scarcity. Other areas of environmental engagement involve the impact of pesticides on pollinators and the need to protect marine habitats. We support shareholder proposals pushing these topics up the agendas of the companies we invest in. On a wider scale, we are working with like-minded investors on engagement focused on improving biodiversity.
